Pittsburgh has shaken off a slow start and is closing in on the surprising Phillies in the East. Jim Bouton(2-4) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Fred Gladding earned the save, his 10th. Ray Sadecki(2-3) was hit with the loss. With this win, Houston has a 22-27 record.
