Phils Stun St. Louis

The awarding of the NL East Division is going down to the final day of the season. The Cardinals fell to a barrage of offense by the basement dwellers and fell 11-7. Coupled with a Chicago win over the Mets earlier in the day, the difference between the two teams is one game with one game left to play.

Bob Gibson will start for the Redbirds, which all but insures that he will not start game one of the NLCS should St. Louis win Thursday's season finale.
